NEW YEAR NEW...
CÂYLENDAR

Câylendar is a calendar that is inspired by a Vietnamese idiom, Cây Nhà Lá Vườn, and features the work of 12 Vietnamese illustrators and artists in the diaspora.

Cây Nhà Lá Vườn, loosely translated as 'trees from home & leaves from the garden', is an idiom typically used to describe home-grown things.
In the context of the Vietnamese diaspora,
'home' has transcended not only the physical and spatial but also the geographical, and even the familial.

For the illustrations featured in this calendar,
the illustrators are to explore the concept of home, home-grown, and their identity as Vietnamese (with and without the hyphenation) in the diaspora.
The proceeds from the sales of Câylendar will be donated to Catalyst Foundation and the YOU'RE NOT ALONE campaign by Saigon Children.
This will be a continuation in providing relief to marginalized & disadvantaged communities in Việt Nam as they recover from COVID-19’s deadly toll.
The calendar will be sold at $40. We will cover shipping fees, both domestic and international.
